The 413/Lamon trail runs between Powers Dam Road NE and eventually comes to a dead end at private property. The route is surfaced with well-maintained gravel and is very wide, making it easy to navigate. It features large corners and sweeping curves, with gentle ascents and descents that give the drive a steady flow. Travelers will notice a number of residences along the way, some of which are in good condition while others appear to be in disrepair. Fallen trees are common off the roadside, giving parts of the route a more rugged appearance. Several side trails branch from the main route, including forest, state, and trust land trails. Many of these can be pretty wet and may present challenges, so they should be approached with caution. This trail does not provide dispersed or formal campsites, nor does it offer amenities such as trash disposal or water access. Cell service may also be unreliable, so visitors should plan accordingly before traveling this route.
