Trail Overview
This trail varies in width, ranging from single-vehicle to two-vehicle, and is composed of a mix of gravel and sand. It is well-suited for side-by-sides and ATVs, and winds its way through a forested landscape with moderate ascents and descents. The surface is uneven in places, with muddy and bumpy stretches that can make for slower travel. Several smaller trails branch off from the main route, and sections are also used as ATV and snowmobile tracks. As the trail progresses, it gradually narrows, creating a tighter path through the trees. Midway along the route, the trail passes a small parking area, though it does not provide any facilities. From here, there is a walk-in access point to a nearby lake. Beyond this, the trail continues to connect with other routes in the area, forming a well-traveled network, especially on weekends and holidays when local traffic is heavier. The drive offers a quiet forest setting with enough variety to keep it interesting. The trail does not provide formal camping options, and there are no amenities such as trash disposal or potable water. Cell phone service may be weak or inconsistent, so visitors should be prepared for limited connectivity while traveling this route.
Difficulty
The trail is maintained but can develop light overgrowth between trims, especially in the summer months. Commonly used by local OHV traffic, the path remains visible and passable, though branches and low brush may occasionally encroach.
