Trail Overview

This is a wooded trail with multiple elevation changes. The dirt trail begins off East 40th Street and winds through a deciduous forest with areas of old and new growth. The trail has mud puddles, but always offers a bypass. There are areas for camping or lunch stops. Most of the single-lane trail is exposed to the sky and with the opportunity to pass. There are some steep hills with narrow passages.

Trail was much easier than I expected. Started from 40th st like the last person who posted a trail report, and never met any terrain or obstacles that even required 4x4.

Trail was mostly dry with a few water holes. Maximum water depth was 12” with the exception of one at 24”. Most water holes had enough room to keep at least two tires dry. Some of the trail was a bit narrow with overgrowth. If you don’t mind some pinstripes, there was no problem getting a full size Jeep through. Fun easy trail in 2wd the whole time.

Nice trail. Plenty of puddles from rain day b4. Most people on trail were looking for mushrooms.

Started trail off of E 40th street. Initially trail was very tight and overgrown so expect pin-striping if in full size vehicle. The trail offered several mild hill climbs and puddles. Trail overall had one obstacle(deep water hole) with a bypass. Otherwise should be rate easy and passable by stock 4x4 vehicles in current conditions.

Good trail tree obstruction was cleared has some mud holes a couple you got to hit but some offer a way around, couple washouts and brush hanging in the trails.

Trail was mostly clear. A partially downed tree was hanging above the trail at one point. Several mud puddles, all were deeper than previously expected but no found obstacles inside them. 4wd and good clearance is highly recommended.
