Trail Overview

This is a fairly wide trail that runs in a loop starting and stopping at a trailhead. This trail has some deeper mud sections that can be over one 1 deep that will require 4 wheel drive and good ground clearance. For some of the deeper mud areas there are bypasses that can be used however they can be tight for larger vehicles. This trail also has some larger hill climbs and descent, and long straight sections. This trail can be ran in either direction. The trailhead has room for trailer parking and an outhouse restroom.

First time here at Tin Cup. The trailhead was full of toy haulers and ATV’s heading off, but once I was on the trail there were only a handful of side by sides that I encountered. Trail is super sandy and rutted. The sandy ruts definitely help a vehicle the size of my BroncoSport make the turns with ease. Overall conditions are good, I didn’t do the water hole at the northern most part, but it looked smaller than I have seen on videos of the trail. I’m sure it will get pretty rutted come Memorial Day weekend, but right now it is in decent shape for my stock BroncoSport even without airing down.

Trails were nice/muddy/snowy. No issues but 4 wheel high was nice for peace of mind. Totally fun!!!

Trail had a good layer of heavy snow, with several low hanging branches from a recent ice storm. One other group on the trail so traffic was not an issue. Love this trail.

mostly wet sand and puddles, did some fishtailing around some corners but not too bad to get control back. downhill grades were slick but engine braking helped with that.

Very sandy due to no super recent rain, so aired down and did it all in 4H. Few washboard spots but nothing crazy. Few low hanging trees throughout currently. Not busy at all

Trail was dry and washboarded in places. Some of the banked curves with trees on either side were tight for a yukon xl and difficult to navigate without sliding the rear end down into a tree. No new dents going through the whole trail though. Just thought I'd post a heads up for people with larger vehicles!

EXTREMELY bumpy, washboard condition, mostly sand. One or 2 areas with deep rutted mud but still passable. 4th of July weekend, lots of side-by-sides flying around.

Theirs a short cut. First lap I had go around a “pond” let my wife run the trail back the other way and we took a differnt turn cut the pond out of her ride. It’s in top left area. Wash board in some spots not all but good. Watch for logs
