Trail Overview

This trail is unique in the sense that it is used specifically for tracked traffic (tanks) at Camp Grayling. There are some nice dispersed camp spots near the south end of the trail along the Manistee River. The trail is very wide and can be whooped out from use by the tracked vehicles. The trail does cross 72, so be sure to watch for fast-moving traffic.

A lot of loose sand spots but a good trail to ride. The trail will become gravel in the middle then back to sand. Was hoping to see a tank but nothing was out there. Trail is very wide open and some good straight aways to do some baja mode.

You will see military vehicles out on this trail. Didn’t see any when I was out but driving back by it there were a couple military vehicles driving on it. There are a few sand pits that will require 4x4 but otherwise really hard packed dirt that will leave dust behind as you drive.
