Trail Overview

This trail is a converted rail bed that runs east/west on the very north edge of the state. It is a nice dirt and gravel road with easy grades that connects Florence, Spread Eagle and Iron Mountain.

Trail was wet and puddly due to the "severe thunderstorm" helped keep the dust (that was an issue earlier) down. Some deer crossings during my ride. Road crossings were rutted up. Center of the trail was really loose. Travel "lanes" were hard packed. Ran in 2wd the whole time, Unless there's snow, you shouldn't ever need 4x on this trail.
