Trail Overview

After leaving Tahquamenon Falls for an amazing time, it's time for some trails. Take Camp 7 to Charcoal Grade Road. Then, finish the loop on Skyline Truck Trail. This was a nice ride before dark checking out the fall colors. Nothing too difficult but I can see if it was wet you could have some challenges.

Trail was very enjoyable this afternoon. Portions were underwater but very shallow and easily navigable with my stock suspension height 2013 Tacoma.

One truck with a John Deere mower coming around beginning corner a little fast set the mood wrong. Never saw another vehicle for the 50min trek thru. Little washboard jazz here and there couple of scare your wife or wallet spots if going too fast I was like 35mph+ most spots never got over 40mph comfortably with a 3.5” lifted on 35s Ram 1500 trails got some sharp scurvy looking stones embedded in the road as well but nothing too fierce. Overall simple just a little rough. Stand tall on my score of 2. Could be an easy 4 if you a little TLC was slapped along ol girl.

Great trail made it through with my kids following in a full size Chevy crew cab short bed and I in a stock 2019 Subaru Forester fun little side trip after visiting the falls.
