Trail Overview
This rural gravel road cuts straight across active farmland in central Allegan County. While not a technical trail, it’s a useful connector between nearby two‑tracks and seasonal roads, especially if you’re linking routes across the Allegan State Game Area.
The road is gravel with dirt shoulders, and depending on recent weather, you may encounter loose stone, soft edges, or shallow mud. It is wide enough for two vehicles to pass, though farm equipment often occupies more of the lane during planting and harvest seasons. Expect slow‑moving tractors and give them plenty of room.
In winter, this road is lightly maintained, and drifting snow can create uneven ruts and soft spots. After a thaw or spring rain, the shoulders can get slick, especially near field entrances where equipment tracks cross the road.
Scenery is classic Allegan farmland — open fields, long sightlines, and a quiet rural feel.
