Allegan Trap Trail

Allegan Trap Trail is an easy track for beginners. If you're looking for a smooth ride, this is a nice easy trail/road through a beautiful section of forest. The road is generally 2-lane traffic and will connect with other trails. Located near the Allegan Dam, this route is easily accessible, and you might get lucky and see some wildlife! This trail is very easy with nothing technical. Most of the trail combines sand and dirt and weaves throughout the Allegan State Game Area. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Regardless of the conditions, this is a neat trail that leads to other awesome trails and cool waypoints!
