Trail Overview
Rush Lake Trail is a 1.5-mile bidirectional road. Located just south of Farley Road, this trail is easily accessible from some of the other nearby trails. Starting off, you'll begin on a dirt/gravel road that has an abundance of trees and wildlife. There are many different types of wild flowers along this route as well, so be sure to check those out. PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY, and be respectful of our public lands so future generations can have access to these trails! This trail starts out alongside private property. Please be respectful of the local landowners and stick to the trail. Like most of Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Come prepared. This is not a difficult trail at all, but it contains a lot of natural beauty and gives access to other great trails nearby. The end of the trail finishes at the intersection of Chambers Rd and Rush Lake Road. Regardless of the conditions, this is an awesome trail!
