Trail Overview

River Road is an amazing drive that gives access to some of the best attractions in the area. On the south end of the trail just off of Dilling Road is the Tippy Dam Recreation Area. During the drive, you will see amazing views of the surrounding forest as well as the Manistee River. The road is two vehicles wide in most areas and well-graded. This is a great trail to explore the Upper Manistee River Area. The north end of the trail begins Upper River Road, where you can continue exploring. There are lots of things to do in the area; go for a hike or stop and check out Government's Landing.
