History
North Laurie Lakes Road is a seasonal, off-grid roadway located in the heavily forested wilderness just outside Paradise, Michigan. Rather than having a long, heavily documented human history, this area is primarily known for its pristine natural landscape, local ecological preserves, and remote Upper Peninsula wilderness. The land surrounding Laurie Lakes Road consists of rolling hills, marshlands, and several "pan ponds" (small lakes). Historically, this area has served as an undisturbed haven for wildlife like moose, wolves, bear, and deer.
