North De Young Road

This spur connects Johnson Road and North Missaukee Route. From the Johnson Road side, the trail begins with a persistent mud hole and continues with a mix of mud and hard-packed sand, with several pull-off areas along the way. Some ruts exceed 12 inches but are generally easy to avoid. The North Missaukee entrance features very deep sand. The route passes beneath a tall forest canopy with open understory, offering a scenic and varied ride.
