NFS 9202

Forest Service Road 9206 is an easy and fun off-road trail for beginners. Located just east of Newaygo off 82nd Street, this route is easily accessible. This trail is easy with nothing technical. Most of the trail is a combination of sand and dirt and weaves throughout Manistee National Forest. Along this trail, you'll find a couple of dispersed campsite locations. If you do partake in using these sites, please tread lightly! Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a neat trail!
