Trail Overview

FS 5782 is a unique and scenic, almost 1-mile bidirectional trail. Located between West 3 Mile Road and Ward Hills Loop, this trail is easily accessible and breathtaking. Starting from the southern end, you'll start on a mostly sandy road that stays sandy pretty much the entire way. There are a few medium-sized rocks that jet out of the trail, so be mindful of tire placement. There are a few incredibly large mature trees along this trail. As you continue down the trail, you'll come across a ton of trees that are just beautiful. Be sure to take it all in, and TREAD LIGHTLY so future generations can enjoy these public spaces. Also, keep your eyes open for wildlife! This trail will surely keep you entertained. Like most of Michigan offroad trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Come Prepared! This is not a difficult trail at all, but it contains a lot of beauty and excitement. This trail also gives access to other great trails nearby. Regardless of the conditions of this trail, it's a great route to check out! As always, PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY and be respectful of our public lands so future generations can have access to these trails!
