Trail Overview

FS 5338 permits full-size vehicles; however, the trail is beginning to get overgrown and is lightly traveled, except for some pinstriping and some branches near windshield height. Trail consist of a gravel/sand base similar to most other USFS trails in the area. Cellular service is very spotty on the trail. Always check USFS postings for up-to-date trail closure information. Adhere to DNR posted signage.

Difficulty

Nearing the end of the trail has overgrown vegetation, minimal obstacles besides low points that get muddy, and some small ruts. Very limited places to pass, especially near the end of the trail, are one vehicle wide without locations to pass.
