FS 4161 / FS 4163

This spur trail gets you off Old State Road and into the woods. This area seems to be commonly used, keeping the vegetation from getting too overgrown. There is also a lot of evidence of the DNR putting up blockades to keep people from continuing off-trail use. The terrain here is a mix of hard-packed sand and soft sand areas with large whoops, and the area is mostly flat. There are multiple open areas allowing you to get a good view into the surrounding forest.
