Trail Overview

This route starts just north of White Cloud, Michigan, off M-37. It's recommended to travel from east to west. The route is primarily two tracks with a handful of ruts, divots, and bogs. The primary challenges of this route are located approximately halfway, where you will come up to one bog with a bypass and then another bog shortly after with no bypass. The second bog should be passable for most 4WD vehicles.

Difficulty

The trail consists of one deep bog that is 1-2 feet deep, however, there is a bypass. There is a second bog shortly after that is less than a foot deep, but there is no bypass. Most 4WD vehicles should be able to pass.

This needs to be a Blue trail, probably a 5/6 due to one quicksand type muddy water hole that despite having three separate routes each route got one of our vehicles stuck very quickly. 35-in mud tires included.

I broke through a mud hole and got stuck resting on my skid plates. A lower speed would have gotten me across. Winched backwards and did not continue

Beautiful scenic drive until 43.60576, -85.84147. At that point there is a mud hole that is 12-15" deep. There are bypasses, but they look tied rutted. Further south is a rutted mud hole with an easier bypass.

Jeep buried in mud hole to frame. Was able to get him out with 2 SXS connected together and used tree as snatch block to get his frame up and over rut in mud hole.

Water crossing was super soft and caught the vehicle and sunk to the doors. Luckily ATV riders were able to wench us out

Trees we're barren with leaves on the ground. wispy trees would scratch along the side. The bog, without the bypass, was filled with water, but has a sandy bottom. The sandy sections of the trail or dusty and there were many banked Curves.
