Trail Overview
License Plate Required! County Meadow Trail is a fun two-track connector trail. Located just west of US Highway 131, it's easily accessible. This track connects No. 2 Road and the Grand Traverse County to Supply Road MCCCT Trail. Although it's considered a connector, this trail still has a lot to offer. The surface mostly consists of a combination of sand, dirt, and grass, and weaves through a portion of the Traverse City Forest Management Unit that's abundant with plant life and vegetation. Like most of Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. There are several places along this route that have a fair amount of overgrowth, so please use caution and come prepared! Regardless of the conditions, this is an awesome trail for all to enjoy!
