Border Trail

Border Trail is a dirt two-track located within the Roscommon Forest Management Unit. At the east end, it is quite tight and overgrown, making it hard to pass other trucks. It does open up as you head west, allowing for full-sized trucks to pass using pull-offs along the way. The surface is generally smooth but does have some areas where there are exposed tree roots. On the west end of the trail, you will find it opens up to a sand bowl. Per the Department of Natural Resources State Forest Roads Interactive Web Map, Off-road Recreational Vehicles are permitted on this trail; please check current local regulations before heading out.
