Trail Overview

This trail parallels Artesia Beach Road, reaching from F97 to Louie's Market in Saint Helen. The eastern side is very sandy, with small sand scramble areas and sand bowls. The western portion becomes narrower, heavily wooded, and features a couple of water crossings that can become deep in the springtime or after heavy rain.

Difficulty

During spring and after heavy rain, the swamps near the west end of the trail will overflow, creating mud and water holes up to a foot deep. Aside from that, this is an easy trail that can be exited at various connections to Artesia Beach Rd for those who wish to avoid the western section.

Two deep water holes make this area impassable for a SxS. This was at the beginning coming in from the west side.

Some muddy areas on the west end of this trail, but you can exit the trail up to Artesia Beach Rd before going this far west, if needed
