679 Loop

679 Loop is a single-lane two-track within the Grayling Forest Management Unit. Winding through pine and hardwood forests, the route offers opportunities to observe wildlife. Expect loose or very soft sand, washboard surfaces, and bumps in places. Although the loop can be traveled in either direction, hills with pitches of approximately 14–20 degrees may increase the difficulty. Stop and assess conditions before attempting any steep climb or descent. Please stay on designated trails and follow Tread Lightly principles.
