Trail Overview

Welcome to October Mountain State Forest, the largest state forest in Massachusetts. Lenox Whitney Place Road connects Country Road to the center of the Forest and all other trails within the park. Several trail options branch off throughout the entire trail. Please note signage that indicates what vehicles are permitted on trails. Reference other mapped routes on onX to confirm or state park websites.

I was a bit surprised this trail is rated as a green trail. It gets fairly rough in some spots that unless you have a higher clearance vehicle, you could get into some trouble. A lot of fun though!
