Trail Overview

Zion Road (520) and Buker Road (555) make up this trail in the Kisatchie National Forest. This trail ends at paved Highway 500. At the north end of this trail, you will see a cool railroad bridge. This bridge is where you turn to start the trail. These maintained gravel forest roads are easy to travel and in great shape. If the roads are wet they can be slippery and a bit muddy. Some of these areas have thin underbrush allowing the forest floor to be seen. Wildlife and beautiful views are along this trail. Some creeks are in the area. There are other roads to explore in this area.
