Trail Overview

Cowen Creek is a very beautiful trail. It follows a creek bed with rocks and mud holes to navigate. There are two waterfalls to climb. This trail requires high clearance.

Heavily Barricaded with Natural Material

We came in from the south off KAT11. The lower portion is open up to the abandoned cabin and barn, which are cool to checkout. After the “cabin loop” (marked by adventure tour signs) the trail is permanently closed.

Locked Gate

Locked gate. Was told by a lady that they were filming something and she told us to move along because of the noise of our jeeps. Not sure if this is permanently closed or just because they are filming.
