Trail Overview

This trail is more like the old school Appalachian four wheeling trails than most Forest Service roads. There's no gravel, some tight cuts between trees, and a few mud holes. If you're trying to avoid scratches, then stay away--lots of low hanging limbs and branches. There are various offshoots that aren't on the MVUM. The trail "ends" at the second powerline crossing, but continues down a steep off-camber washout.

after you turn off the gravel section take the trail to the left after 150ft you will see the first mud hole with a bypass to the left, if you take the mud hole its probably a 20in drop in and its soft bottomed so expect to sink down a little more. after that its fairly tight with a bunch of low hanging branches a few off camber spots but nothing crazy. if you're just looking to kill time and explore a little bit and are in that area its a fun 30minute rd
