This track is a beautiful drive under the canopy of the trees. There are several small creek crossings and washes to navigate through but most of this track can be driven in 2wd. If traveling from the park via 101, there is a steep hill to descend with one switchback. Be cautious here and use lower gears. The water is washing away the dirt making this section even more difficult. If you are traveling from Highway 221, going back up this hill is quite difficult. The loose rock and rutted trail make this tough to climb. Choose your line, take your time, and you should have no drama.
