Trail Overview
This trail has become somewhat overgrown, with brush encroaching along portions of the route. Drivers should expect the possibility of pinstriping, especially on wider vehicles. Throughout the trail, there are a few mud holes that may appear intimidating but generally have a solid bottom, allowing most vehicles to pass with steady momentum. The terrain remains mostly flat and manageable, with no major obstacles, steep climbs, or deep ruts to contend with.
Difficulty
This trail is easy overall, with only light overgrowth and shallow mud holes to consider. Pinstriping is possible, but there are no major obstacles or technical sections, making it suitable for beginners and stock vehicles.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
