Trail Overview

Bad Axe is a very short difficult trail located within the Carnage Canyon area of the park. It is rutted out in spots due to others being hung up. The trail is mostly rock with larger boulders to climb. The middle of the trail is a rock slab and ends with rock ledges at the top.

This trail has a short steep grade that is rocky with several large boulders to climb. There is evidence of others being hung up on this trail and this has caused some areas to be rutted out. The trail could be slick if it's raining.
