Dolphin Avenue

Dolphin Avenue is a great example of traditional Iowa back road travel, winding through fields, wooded areas, and hunting country while following a small creek along part of the route. The road has a few rocky sections and can become more challenging when wet, with access points leading toward fields and private lands along the way. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as wild turkeys, deer, and muskrats as you pass through the open fields. Near the end, the route passes several barns and farms before bringing you back to the main paved road, making this a scenic and enjoyable back road drive.
