Trail Overview

Thousand Springs climbs up to Piney Pass and is a nice ride that has (as the name suggests) several springs and a nice mountain lake. This is a beginner-friendly trail for both Dirt bikes and ATVs, with most of the trail being dirt with a few minor obstacles. This is a popular trail as it is used to connect many of the other trails in the area, so be aware of other riders. This route is mainly dirt with some embedded rock, roots, and loose rocks. In the early spring, this trail can be quite muddy, but during the summer it clears up. There are a few small water crossings, but nothing to be concerned about in the summer. Check out Castle Lake for a nice side trip.
