Trail Overview
This is an easier single track near Stanley that is great for newer dirt bikers looking for a fun and easy ride with minor challenges. It starts at the Little Basin Creek Trailhead, and there is pooled-up water on the trail right away. It starts off pretty flat and windy, fast and flowy in the beginning through an old burn area. Then it becomes more shelfy with embedded rock, but no significant exposure, as it starts to climb up from the flats into the pine trees. It stays pretty mellow but does have a couple of tight hairpin turns and rockier sections. The end is fast and flowy again as it goes along nice hillsides. The trail is smooth, but really narrow for the last half. There are tons of downed logs on the side of the trail, most of which are cut, but be careful not to whack your foot on a stump.
