Trail Overview

Klahowya Creek N (FS 1075N) is a 2.8-mile out-and-back route through Kaniksu National Forest. The road begins with a gravel surface before transitioning to silt and becoming increasingly rough and overgrown. Long sections follow a narrow shelf road, with some areas becoming too narrow to recommend for full-size vehicles. The route ends where heavy overgrowth makes further vehicle travel impassable. Klahowya Creek N is open to all vehicles.

Klahowya Creek N (FS 1075N) is rated moderate. The road becomes progressively rougher and more overgrown, with very narrow sections and long stretches of shelf road requiring careful driving. Smaller vehicles are better suited to the upper portion, and drivers should expect heavy pinstriping.
