Trail Overview
Jim Creek/ Livingston Mine route #70669 climbs the railroad ridge overlook in the White Cloud Mountains to over 10k feet. The route is rocky and steep, and there is often debris that falls onto the uphill part of the track, cambering the road toward the edge of this shelf road. Washouts are common, and it can be difficult to turn around on the track. At the top, you are rewarded with astonishing views, showing the majesty of Idaho's mountains. Poor weather is frequent, and it is not advised to travel here in inclement weather. There are pika, mountain goat, pronghorn antelopes, and mountain lions in the mountains. Be careful with the fragile ground cover and stay on established tracks. Make sure you do not enter the White Clouds Wilderness area- Motorized activities are not permitted.

Difficulty
Narrow, steep shelf road cambered towards the edge. I would not recommend driving a full-size vehicle or taking trailers.
