Trail Overview
Goodheart Springs #3566 is an intermediate 1-mile ATV trail that offers a short but moderately easy ride through forested terrain. The south end starts at a signed entrance on FS Road 30197. The trail has deep ruts running down the path, occasionally filled with loose rock. There is a steeper section with chunky loose rock and scattered roots that you'll climb up when going north. Large waterbars also break up the trail surface. While not overly difficult, it will require a bit more experience for proper tire placement in the ruts and more skill to get up the steep climbs. The combination of uneven terrain and rock, and roots adds a small degree of challenge. The trail ends in the forest at a dead-end after 1 mile due to a major tree blockage on the north end, though it connects near that point with trail #3566A.
Difficulty
This trail is not overly challenging, but it's more of a moderate trail due to the steep, rutted sections with loose rock and roots that require more technical navigation. The majority of the trail is easy, so it should still be manageable for riders with a basic level of skill willing to take on some steeper segments.
