Trail Overview

This trail is one of several side roads off the Franklin Basin Road that start in Logan Canyon, Utah and end at Cub River, Idaho. This road is open to and suitable for any 4x4 high-clearance vehicle. It climbs a pretty canyon ending at two small, shallow lakes with great views of Wilderness Peak.

Deep snow drifts and downed trees made it impassable about 1 mile in.

Large snow drifts started about half way down the trail as well as a fallen tree. (42.03286, -111.62109). The water crossing is also extremely deep right now due to the runoff so be careful if you're in a smaller machine or 4x4.

Fun trail. Little tricky in some spots, but its quite fun, with good views. Good amount of traffic.

1000 yards to the lake the snow is still about 3 feet deep. Some SXS and 4 wheelers have driven around the snow in the trees but the main trail is obstructed
