Trail Overview

This well-maintained access road is about 6.5 miles long. It begins from Fish Haven Idaho, located on the West side of the pristine shores of Bear Lake and T's into Beaver Green Canyon Road. It follows a stream and offers a variety of dispersed camping sites. Many of them are tucked away in pine and aspen stands surrounded by pastoral fields of grass and sage. If you are coming from Beaver Green Canyon Road, Fish Haven offers a few dining locations such as Glady's Pizza, a few gas stations to fuel up and restock drinks and snacks, and a few parking locations to get out and stretch your legs. If you are coming from Fish Haven, this road ties into a network of roads and trails that run from Huntsville Utah, and extend as far up as Soda Springs Idaho. Whether this is your entryway into these trails, your final destination, or a pit stop, this road will give you easy and smooth access for your travels.

We spent the day doing trash clean up on this trail. The road was dry with the exception of a lingering mud puddle or 3. The snow is gone on the road but occasionally still under a tree at the higher elevations. We brought out 3 bags of litter. Please, be a good steward of the land you love and pack your trash out with you.

Road was fairly smooth, just very dusty. Snow has all melted off.
