Trail Overview

This road is just beautiful. You can see incredible views from the desert, high mountains, thick forests, and open valleys. As for difficulty, this road can be done by pretty much any AWD or 4WD, although there are some steep inclines to be aware of if the road is wet or icy.

Taking this trail from the south end is clear until the peak, once you start the descent on the north side the snow is super deep. I am assuming that the north side is pretty inaccessible due to snow, but from the south side, the peak is accessible. Please do not try the full trail until all the snow is melted and dry
