Trail Overview

8th Street Motorcycle Trail is a multi-use trail for motorcycles, hikers, and mountain bikes. It's mainly a single track with a good mix of hard-pack, whoops, and two small sections that are steep with embedded rocks. It starts from the trailhead staging area on the 8th Street Extension and goes up to Boise Ridge Road. It's relatively steep, as it climbs from around 3,800 feet to 5,000 feet in about 6.5 miles. There is a 3.6-mile side route as well. Some know this as Femrite's Patrol.

Flowy with lots of big whoops, there is 4 technical hill climb sections but 2 have bypasses. Definitely a good trail for beginners to learn new skills and challenge themselves. Use the lower staging area of hulls gulch if u want to avoid nails from idiots burning pallets in the parking lot
