Trail Overview
A very nice trail with a dispersed campsite for multiple vehicles at the end where two creeks come together. The creeks merge and continue on to the Soque River in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The Forest Service MVUM for Chataooga River District does state the trail is seasonally opened from 8/30-1/13, and is marked for Highway Legal Vehicles only. The trail is fine for stock 4x4s and likely most trucks. You will gather some mud in a few spots, and it does have a couple of gentle technical obstacles, including some loose dirt/rock areas with steep drop-offs, and certainly slick mud depending on the weather. The trail is narrow with a couple of passing points or turnarounds. What makes the trail special is the ending at the campsite and the two creeks coming together. If the weather is warmer, playing in those creeks will be a lot of fun.
Difficulty
This is a relatively easy trail for any 4x4, and most trucks and probably some cars will be fine. There are a couple of steeper inclines that will be slick with mud depending on recent weather, and at least one narrow and sharp turn that passes over some rocks while also declining a bit, that's all at once near the end.
