Toccoa River Road - FS 333

Large tree across the trail about 1/2 mile from the northwestern end (Old Rock Creek Rd). Some folks on SxS had a saw and I had my winch, but it was just more tree than the saw had battery, so we had to leave it. The trail to the south of there had many mud holes, many of which the bottom felt pretty gooey. My advice would be to use some momentum to get through without stopping on them. Other than that it was a fairly easy trail, but I wouldn’t do it without 4WD because of the mud.

Don't trust the 3/10 rating. Right from the start, expect a solid 5/10 (maybe higher). It’s very narrow with deep mud holes, heavy red clay, slick off-camber sections, and significant ruts. If you're in a wide or heavy rig, line choice is critical.

Muddy at the north end. They are grading south of swinging bridge. Not sure they aren't making it worse.

Pretty.\nBig offset , mud holes , weird camber , coming in and out of them. And then on the double gap , roadside of this trail is a huge nasty soupy , north georgia , mud hole full of red clay. Maybe don't run this trail after rain without anyone else with you or without a winch , you will need it!

Was not expecting this trail to be what it was. More than a 3 for sure, and definitely need 4 wheel drive and lift. Pleasant surprise, but unexpected. Lots of deep mud, and off camber.
