Trail Overview

This is a 6-mile loop that takes you through a twisting shelf road section and scenic pine tree-covered woods. This is mainly a single-vehicle-width trail with places to pass. Along the way, you will find dispersed campsites, hiking trails, and managed food plots for wildlife.

Difficulty

This is a well-maintained gravel road that any vehicle will be able to travel down. It is predominately a single-vehicle-wide road with spots to pass.

It’s an easy single lane dirt/gravel road. Some down trees that have been cut through but no problems at all driving it.

The gate was closed today. Not sure if this is a seasonal closure or not. A lot of the trails are closed 01/01 - 03/15 and this might be one.

Great way to end a great day of riding through the forest! The vistas/mountain views were gorgeous ahead of the sun going below the mountain tops.
