Trail Overview

This route travels the southern portion of Johns Mountain, passing Hidden Creek and offering outstanding views. Throughout this route, you will travel a one-lane service road with rocky surfaces and minimal obstacles to navigate. Watch out for steep drop-offs and sharp turns along the route. This road is traveled often, however, do not expect it to be maintained as it is a rural area.

Nice trail to get you in the woods for a bit. This is not a real technical trail. I came across a few water mud spots. One was long as seen I one of my pics, there was a hole entering which was deeper than I thought, no big deal.(on right side of track) A few sections are tight with not many areas to move over if someone is coming out. The end is the payoff, bring a chair and food , stay a bit. Very quiet at the end, nice trees to shade under as seen in picks. I actually was going to Calbeck Road off Hidden Valley , do both. Calbeck is tight with a several water mud holes. There is on large one be easy going into it because has a drop into. The water was low today but last week was deeper based on friends feedback. Ran both in 4Lo, some 4H, didnt air down but wish I had, disconnected swaybar as well and ran without the freedom tops. Nice time in the woods.

Trail was fairly easy. Buddy made it though with a bone stock (tires too) 2wd f150 with diff lock. Few mud holes but nothing bad. Pretty far into the trail there was a huge downed tree. Was right on a hill edge so trying to turn 3 trucks around was not very fun…

Took the Bronco out today for a quick ride down trails 995E and 995B. Recent rain left a lot of mud pools, but overall trail conditions were easy. Cleared one fallen tree blocking the path—no other major obstacles. Solid ride and a great way to spend the day off enjoying the outdoors.

Very easy and fun trail. You really don’t need four-wheel-drive for this trail. There are some small mud puddles nothing too big.

Had few mud puddles. Some ruts but nothing needing 4 wheel drive . Was a beautiful day we just wanted to get out and Jeep. Only an hour from our house so great trail to just get out and ride . The tree down reported earlier had been removed ! GREAT day !

Rain and fog took over most of trail. 955A Blue Springs, dangerously washed out in several places, deep holes and ruts at the beginning made it 3/4 thru but fog got too thick.
