Gentry Gap - FS 233

The route begins just off Pocket Road and follows a two-track trail with a handful of small pull-offs that make passing other vehicles fairly easy. About a mile in, there is a gate that was closed at the time of the visit. The drive is scenic, winding through a quiet forest on a mix of gravel and dirt surfaces. Along the way are occasional ruts, some small washes, and a single shallow creek crossing. The creek crossing is simple and easy to manage, not at all intimidating, and would be no problem even for a stock Honda Civic. This route does not require any special equipment or a high-clearance vehicle.
