Trail Overview

This is an easy, graded hard-pack trail, easily driven with a regular automobile without 4-wheel drive capabilities. Many nature trails that can be walked. Several gates have to be accessed to enter the Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The first gate just off Toledo Blade Boulevard is an automatic gate. Follow the posted instructions to open the gate. Then approximately 2.5 miles there will be a manual gate that will need to be opened and closed. Logging activity could be underway, some logging equipment and trailers may block portions of the roadway. Also, no off-road/off-highway vehicles are permitted to be used within the WMA.

First part stretches along a bunch of private land and goes thru a second manual open gate. The third gate is locked and not passable and no foot access. So I’d say the trail is partially blocked based on the trail shown on the app. Could hear coyotes howling but didn’t see anything of note.
