Trail Overview
Jody Lane is a one-way in and out, periodically maintained timber route with multiple water crossings, mud holes, and deep ruts. Conditions worsen significantly past the power line clearing, where maintenance drops off, and obstacles become more challenging. High-clearance 4WD is recommended, especially after rain when mud can become impassable. Several spur trails branch off, providing access to more remote forest areas, but they can be confusing without navigation. Expect limited cell service and increasing isolation the farther you travel. Suitable for experienced off-roaders prepared for recovery situations and changing terrain conditions.
Difficulty
The lower part of the trail is better maintained, but it does have two water crossings that may be flooded after heavy rains. The trail gets progressively worse the further north travelled. pinstripping likely on this trail that gets tighter towards Upper C34
