A little slippery in spots, but otherwise a nice drive in the woods. We bypassed the mudhole since we were solo.

The mudhole was dried up but it and the part leading up to it were the only obstacles on the trail. Had there been water i could see where this would have been a much bigger challege as the center of the hole would have been deceptively deep.

Not that much mud at all and no one else on the trail. Dropped off in the mud hole too slow and had to winch out for the first time. Other than that easy trail

The only difficult part of the route is a quarter mile section with 2 deep mud holes with soft mud. I was able to go around on the outside without a lift. The rest of the route is very easy.

Overall a pretty chill trail that was fun. Lots of areas are kept up and have loose gravel. One spot had some 8 to 12 inch ruts that weren’t muddy, and then later on a large mud hole that had a foot to a foot and a half of standing water. Slick and very slippery mud, so I’d recommend having a buddy and a winch to help out if you plan on attempting to go up the middle!

Mostly dirt or sand roads. Two water crossing both very shallow and lots of traction. Mud hole towards the end definitely needs to be checked before attempting. Ended up skirting the right side and having no problems, left side was much deeper and felt mushy poking with a stick.

Trail is in good condition, and very easy. Both watercrossings were only maybe 8-10" deep, nice hard pack bottom/concrete/rock. East end of the trail was dry, nice hard pack and more of what I'd call a "trail". West end was mostly hard red clay dirt roads, with a little slick layer of mud on top due to recent rain, but nothing to worry about or get stuck in. just a little messy. As others have said, only deep mudpit part is very short and has a bypass trail to go around it. overall, a fun way to spend the morning! lots of hunters out right now so just watch out for that

The trail was much as described in main description and trail reports. The one extremely deep, muddy section can easily be avoided by driving the short triangular shaped road path just to the north, northwest of it. Look at it on the map if you want to avoid. Avoiding this section, I would rate the remainder of the trail as a 1, maximum 2 difficulty. I saw over a dozen vehicles trareversing the roads as it was winter deer hunting season.

AWESOME route through Blackwater! Lots of good elevation change for Florida, 2 very manageable but interesting water crossings. Max depth about 8” even given recent rains. Western section between Camp Lowry Rd & One Nelson Rd is impassable unless you have people nearby to help with potential recovery or you’re right very high clearance above 35” tire. Deep mud holes and a rutted out hill full of mud that would’ve bottomed me out and then some. Thankfully you can bypass this small section of you take Camp Lowry to One Nelson directly. Lots of hunters out and about so be cautious.

Trail was overall just an exciting scenic drive, definitely recommend to get a great view of Blackwater. I’d say 98 percent of it could be done in a 2wd Subaru. Near the tail end of the trail, as others pointed out, there are a couple of big mud holes. The second one you encounter is impossible to go straight into without getting stuck, unless you have 35 inch tires (as pictured). That vehicle shown in the mud has a 3 inch lift with 33s, for reference. There is an ability to basically avoid it, and if you’d like to attempt it, go for the right side, not the left. After that mud hole, there’s potential to bottom out your diff going up a hill if you’re not careful. Other than that, super easy, and if u don’t get stuck, can be done in an hour and a half! 10/10

Good trail until you hit the end where C130 meets Camp Lowery Road.
Major mud hole that will get you if you arent running anything bigger than a 35" tire.
