Black Point Wildlife Drive in Titusville, Florida, is a scenic, well-maintained gravel and dirt road that winds through the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Open to both 4x4 and 2WD vehicles, this seven-mile, self-guided route offers an easy and accessible way to experience Florida's diverse wetlands, providing excellent opportunities for birdwatching, photography, and wildlife spotting. Visitors can enjoy sightings of alligators, wading birds, and other native species while driving at a leisurely pace. The road is designed for smooth travel, ensuring that even standard passenger vehicles can comfortably navigate the terrain while taking in the natural beauty of the refuge. Several designated parking areas along the route feature built-up overlook structures, allowing visitors to step out, take in panoramic views, and observe wildlife up close. There is a $10 entry fee, unless you have a National Parks Pass or a weeklong pass to Canaveral National Seashore.
