Trail Overview

717E is a short spur off of the 717 trail that is half a mile long and connects 717 to County Road 33. The trail is mostly a smooth dirt path covered in pea gravel, winding between an open forest of ponderosa pines and young aspen trees. The trail snakes across a rolling hilltop, with shallow ruts but no major obstacles. Expect whoops and heavy traffic on busy summer weekends. Most of the trail is flat, except for a little bit of steepness on the west side. There is a metal pinch point on the west end of the trail when it connects to the main road.
