Trail Overview

This is one of the premier trails in the Taylor Park area. It includes a major water crossing through Texas Creek at the beginning, which provides access to the remainder of the trail. While most of this trail can be considered a 2 or 3 in terms of difficulty, the water crossing increases the overall rating to a 4 or 5, especially during times of the year when water levels are highest. Other than the crossing, which is the trail's main feature, expect beautiful views of the Sawatch Range and plenty of dispersed camping opportunities.
